Thank goodness for Rest days!

 

Oh my goodness…I was so thankful today was a “rest” day at crossfit.  I saw the WOD last night and I know I would about halfway thru the burpees.  I’m so glad that I never met “century” today.  I have done all of the movements before in WODS (100 kettlebell; 100 burpees; 100 abmat situps) in a WOD before; but all at once…NO WAY JOSE! Thank goodness for rest days!  But even though I didn’t hit ACF this morning, I got some extra sleep, and woke up to Snow! I hate snow but I was really looking forward to using my new snow blower for the first time!! Not enough snow for the snowblower, so my WOD was shoveling…. :(

I got to work and realized I forgot my pedometer.  I was upset about that and even though I didn’t have my pedometer, I know I walked over 10000 steps today!!! I had to go to another unit on campus today and deliver a bar tonight, and because of the snow, getting around campus isn’t easy, so I walked! Last year at this time, I still would have found a way to get out of walking.  Now I find myself walking every where.

I’m walking more at work.  I’m walking my dog almost every night (which is good for me and her).  I’m even doing research on marathons.  My cousin, Kim, wants us to do the Big Sur marathon. I’m even contemplating it!! I can’t this year because I will be at relay for life at the college.  I’ve done 3 5K’s who says I can’t do a marathon (walking that is)! No one is going to hold me back!

Friday’s WOD is posted and I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to walk tomorrow night or Saturday….Oh vay! But here’s the food for the day and some stats:

85 ounces of water which isn’t nearly enough but much better than the day before!

A little mobility at work

I don’t know how many steps….but A LOT :)

And I realized that my nighttime snack has been graham crackers and it isn’t the best choice, however it’s much better than the alternatives… :) Day by day…
